Description: This bridge is ten feet wide and spans a distance of nearly 160 feet. It provides an important pedestrian connection between the City’s Civil War Mill Ruins and one of the largest individual parcels of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.

Key Features: The structure sits 30 feet above the normal water level of the creek in order to keep it out of the 100-year flood plain. This required a massive concrete retaining wall on one side and anchorage into the granite bedrock on the other side.
