Description: The City redeveloped an old ball field site to create a much needed 3.5 acre wet detention pond to treat some of the runoff from downtown

Recognizing an opportunity, the City decided to transform the pond into a greenspace amenity open to the public.

Key Features: The park includes a multi-use trail around the perimeter of the pond, a large wooden observation deck and outdoor classroom, an open-air pavilion, interpretive signage and native landscaping.
